Assignment 25 February

Okay folks, Mrs. Longo is sick again today and so I'll be taking the kiddo to daycare and coming late again. Here's what I'd like for you to do today:

1. Sign in to your CIS account. (I'm sorry if you've forgotten your username or password for the umpteenth time, please figure it out. I'll be available via comment to this blog post until 8:20 AM if you really need your password re-set.)
2. Hover over the "Education" tab and click on "College Admissions and Work Keys Practice Tests." This will take you to a series of screens before getting to a neat looking one with lots of color and links. Just say "yes" or "continue" to any questions that arise.
3. On the left, click on "College Preparation." Then click on "PSAT/NMSQT Preparation" in the center of the screen. 
4. You'll want to add the "Critical Reading Test 1" to your "My Center." (There is a link to the right of the test.) This will take you to "My Center" where you should take the test. 
5. If you finish the test today, first I'd like for you to take a screenshot of your final score. To do this, press the "Print Scrn" button on your keyboard (it's on the upper right hand side of the keyboard). Then open up MS Paint and phsy "Ctrl + v" to paste the screenshot into the paint file. Save this to your u: drive. Then, I'd like for you to compose a blog post on how you did and some things that you learned about the test from taking a practice test. you could talk about how questions are worded, formatted etc...is there vocabulary that you didn't know? If so, type out some of those terms in your blog post with their definitions, they could help you or someone that comments on your post. Insert the screenshot that you took into your blog post.
6. If you don't finish the test today. Click on the blue "Finish Later" button on the top of the screen. You should work until the bell rings.
